Sophia earned her B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, in 2024. In 2025, she continued her academic pursuits at Grand Valley State University, where she is completing a second bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies and obtaining her Paralegal Certification. During her undergraduate studies, Sophia gained valuable experience working at the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office as a legal secretary on the felony desk.

Outside of her professional and academic commitments, Sophia enjoys running and staying active. She competed in four years of collegiate soccer at Berry College and completed her first half-marathon after graduation. A sushi enthusiast, she is always on the lookout for great sushi spots around Grand Rapids.
