Taryn moved from her hometown of Detroit to Grand Rapids in the spring of 2010. Looking for a new adventure, Taryn decided to pursue a lifelong dream of working in the legal world. While attending the paralegal program at Davenport University she landed her first legal assistant position at a small probate law firm in Jenison, Michigan. It was here that she learned the ins and outs of the Michigan court system.
In 2017, she accepted a litigation paralegal position at Johnson Law where she spent nearly two years. While there, Taryn’s work focus was medical malpractice and personal injury. She gained tremendous legal experience while working on several high-profile cases and assisting on 1.74-million-dollar verdict jury trial. Taryn joined Henn Lesperance in October of 2018 and continues to build on her knowledge of medical malpractice law while assisting out attorneys in complex litigation.
Taryn loves to travel, enjoys DIY projects, interior design and event planning. She is also a freelance hairstylist and a makeup artist.
