Susan M. Ramage received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University) in 1985. During law school she was a member of Law Review and the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Estates and Wills. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Prior to joining Henn Lesperance in 2018, Susan was an associate principal at Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti and Sherbrook from 1985 through 2001 specializing in Medical Malpractice Defense. During that time, she worked in the firm’s Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids offices. In 2001 she joined a West Michigan firm and continued defense work in medical malpractice cases.
Since joining Henn Lesperance, Susan is practicing Medical Malpractice Defense litigation, Civil Litigation, and Nursing Home Defense litigation.
She has spoken on medical liability and risk management issues and been published in Michigan Legal Update.
Susan has served as a mentor/tutor for the Grand Rapids Public Schools and a volunteer at Sunrise Senior Living.
