Brad Pero has been practicing law since 2011. Mr. Pero joined Henn Lesperance in 2019, where he concentrates his practice on medical malpractice defense litigation. He also devotes some of his practice to nursing home defense, professional licensing, discipline and credentialing matters, as well as defending governmental entities. He is involved in all aspects of litigation, including trial.
Mr. Pero seeks to provide his clients with intelligent counsel and zealous advocacy. He prides himself on achieving optimal results for clients. He has seen firsthand how proper investigation and preparation can impact a case, which has led to his “no stone unturned” approach. His clients appreciate his understanding of the complex issues and ability to explain them in highly emotional and contested disputes.
Mr. Pero received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Philosophy and Political Science from Western Michigan University.He then earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Pero served as an Editor of the Journal of Medicine & Law.
He currently serves on the Education and Marketing Committees of the Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management (MSHRM). He is also a member of Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and the State Bar of Michigan’s Health Care Law Section.
When not practicing law, Mr. Pero enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, playing guitar, and watching sports. He has also been known to go skydiving and bungee jumping.
