Alissa graduated from Davenport University earning an ABA-approved bachelor’s degree. Alissa landed her first legal assistant/paralegal position at a mid-sized firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While there Alissa learned the ins and out of not only the Michigan court system but also multiple post-judgment practices and procedures in Kentucky, Georgia, Colorado and Tennessee.
In 2017, she accepted a litigation paralegal position at Johnson Law where she spent over two years focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice. She gained extensive experience while working on multiple high-profile cases in Michigan as well as Indiana, including assisting on a 1.74-million dollar verdict jury trial and a 2-million dollar settlement. Alissa joined Henn Lesperance in March of 2019 and continues to assist the attorneys on complex medical malpractice cases.
Alissa enjoys spending time with her family, painting and loves summertime activities such as camping, swimming, fishing and playing volleyball.
